Mission

To elevate the value and presence of Alpha Kappa Alpha sorority Inc. in the community and to involve each Rho Theta Omega member in:

  • Affecting the community by providing goods and services that truly impact the lives of those we serve.
  • Leaving women, children and families better off than when we met them, whether it is via rewarding achievement, providing inspiration, exposure and knowledge; and/or access to basic necessities.



Rho Theta Omega Chapter History 

The Rho Theta Omega Chapter was founded on May 22, 1988 in Philadelphia, PA. The 100th chapter established in the Notable North Atlantic Region, Rho Theta Omega serves the Greater Philadelphia & community through direct volunteer service, and financial contributions.

A graduate chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha, the nearly 260 active members of Rho Theta Omega Chapter donate thousands of volunteer hours each year to the community they serve.
