Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. International Day of Service

Girard College

Kudos to Soror Tracey Williams and Soror Stephanie Childs for another successful Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. International Day of Service. More than 130 members of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. and community volunteers wrote inspirational message as well as sorted, packaged and donated approximately 200 infant blankets, socks, mittens, deodorant, lotion and body wash for the patients in the Temple University Hospital Postpartum Unit.

Pink Goes Red for Healthy Heart Day

Thanks to Sorors Kimberly Daye Hardy, Akida Neely and the Target 2 Committee, Rho Theta Omega had a sold out Pink Goes Red event.  Sorors and members of the community either cooked a healthy meal or worked up a sweat.

89th North Atlantic Regional Conference

Hartford, CT

Rho Theta Omega Sorors were represented at the 89th North Atlantic Regional Conference.  Silver Sorors celebrated at the DPGS Luncheon.  We celebrated our Target 4 award win and each other at Ted Montana Grill.  Soror Shariah Dixon-Turner provided us with a Financial Report that was  "IN THE BLACK".  We also had a great time at the Gala. Special thanks to Soror Jala Olds-Pearson and the Social Amenities Committee for capturing these moments for us.
