Mission and History

a 501 (c (3) organization, is a charitable entity committed to making an educational and cultural difference in the Greater Philadelphia community.  The Foundation raises money to award academic scholarships to deserving High School seniors and non-traditional students pursuing higher education.  Our youth mentoring programs, IVY AKAdemy, The VINE, Ivy Vine Stem2D, and Project AKA, support girls in grades six thru twelve. In addition, the Foundation supports other worthwhile community organizations and programs in the greater Philadelphia area. To date, the Foundation has funded over $500,000 in scholarships and program activities.
